You'll play a key role in helping individuals rebuild their lives, access essential services, and integrate safely and confidently into the community. Key Responsibilities As a Housing Support Worker, you will: Provide practical and emotional support to asylum seekers, promoting safety, stability, and independence. Assist individuals in understanding their rights and responsibilities regarding housing and tenancy. Support with accessing healthcare, education, legal advice, and welfare services. Help residents develop life skills such as budgeting, communication, and community participation. Liaise with local authorities, health professionals, and partner agencies to ensure a holistic support approach. Maintain accurate and confidential case notes and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies. About You We're looking for someone who is: Empathetic, patient, and committed to equality and inclusion. Knowledgeable about the asylum system, immigration processes, or housing support (training provided if not). Able to build trusting relationships with vulnerable individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Organised, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
