Support Worker – Housing with Brook Street in Manchester (M1 3LY). This fixed-term, temporary role pays £14.00–£15.00 per hour and offers flexible working patterns (full-time, part-time or shift work). You will provide person-centred practical and emotional support to asylum seekers and refugees living in supported accommodation, helping residents understand their housing and tenancy rights, access healthcare, education, legal advice and welfare, and develop vital life skills such as budgeting, communication and community participation. The job involves liaising with local authorities, health professionals and partner agencies, keeping accurate and confidential case notes and adhering to safeguarding policies to promote safety, stability and independence for vulnerable people.
