Support Time and Recovery Navigator at Practice Plus Group (Reading, RG1) is a full‑time, permanent role based at Scarborough Police Station (with some travel). Working 37.5 hours a week on an 8am–6pm rota across a seven‑day period, the post pays between £29,264 and £33,510. You will work within the Health in Justice non‑custodial service, liaising with police, probation, courts, legal teams and both inpatient and community health and social care to help people navigate the criminal justice pathway. Day‑to‑day you’ll support people from hard‑to‑reach communities to access the right health and social care — covering substance misuse, mental and physical health, homelessness, learning disabilities, exploitation, safeguarding and social care — and provide practical advocacy, programme support and family liaison to enable appointments, court attendance and access to services.

This role suits experienced, compassionate carers — particularly women seeking a hands‑on, people‑centred position — who hold a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma (or equivalent) and have face‑to‑face experience with service users. You’ll need excellent communication, multi‑agency experience, an understanding of consent, clinical governance, health & safety and evidence‑based practice (NICE), plus the right to work in the UK; the role is subject to DBS and additional vetting. Practice Plus Group offers a bespoke induction, a dedicated Learning Management System, regional and national career development and a supportive team culture that values dignity, integrity and diversity.
