Support adults with mental health, learning disabilities and complex needs across Blackpool and St Anne’s in a permanent, full‑time role with Brook Street. The post pays £24,765 per year and involves hands‑on, person‑centred support — assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, activity coordination and community inclusion while following individual care plans and keeping accurate records. Shifts run on a flexible rota and may include days, evenings and occasional weekends. Previous adult social care experience or Level 2/3 Health and Social Care qualifications are useful but not essential; full training and an induction plan are provided. Applicants who can drive and have access to a vehicle are preferred.

This role will suit compassionate, patient carers who want practical, rewarding work with clear development routes — particularly attractive to women seeking steady hours and genuine progression in adult services. Benefits include 28 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays), parking, yearly pay reviews, ongoing training and scope for career development, plus the chance to work collaboratively with families and external professionals in a respectful, person‑centred setting.
