Your focus will be on delivering reliable, high-quality care tailored to the client’s individual needs. The rota patterns for the 3 posts are as follows, on a 2 week-rota: Post 1: 31.5 hrs (Days) - Week 1: 31.5 hrs - Week 2: 31.5 hrs Post 2: 26.25 hrs (Days) - Week 1: 21 hrs - Week 2: 31.5 hrs Post 3: 37.75 hrs (Nights) - Week 1: 37.5 hrs - Week 2: 38 hrs Pay: £14.40 - £14.50 per hour Meet Our Client Our client is a 26-year-old man with cerebral palsy who is full of resilience, positivity, and humour. He enjoys meeting friends, exploring art and engaging in social activities. Your role will include: • Personal care & hygiene support • Moving & handling assistance • Medication administration & therapy support • Admin & record-keeping • Supporting social outings & activities Training & Support We provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering: • Full Induction • Safeguarding Adults • Health & Safety / First Aid / Food Hygiene • Personal Care / Bowel & Catheter Care • Pressure Area Care / Gastrostomy PEG Medication Administration • Learning Disabilities / Cerebral Palsy / MCA & DOLS All training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at £14.40 per hour What We’re Looking For • Full, clean UK driving licence required • Minimum 6 months recent experience in a care setting • Willingness to accompany the client on social trips & holidays if needed • Good communication & writing skills • Comfortable working in a family home with cats • Non-smokers preferred (client’s preference) • Commitment to long-term, person-centred care Join a Team That Cares At HomeCareDirect, we are committed to safe, fair recruitment and ensuring all staff are vetted, trained, and supervised to the highest standards.
