Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with complex care to live independently in their own homes. We'd like you to join us as a day time Support Worker to assist our brand new female client who lives in Newborough, Burton-on-Trent. Meet the client: I live with my partner and dog Dexter, Dexter is a rottweiler but very friendly. I have older children who visit often. I can be quiet at times but do enjoy a bit of banter. My partner makes a great coffee! I really enjoy discussing my dog, and happy to listen to my support workers stories of their pets. I would like my support worker to be friendly and competent, I love working with confident people as it fills me with confidence and puts me at ease immediately. What you'll be doing: This role is to support our female client in her own home for day shifts, who has suffered a spinal cord injury. The client requires support with moving and handling, personal care and hygiene, and medication. You will need to be able to drive with own vehicle to commute to the clients rural location and be confident with the clients dog within the home. When you'll be working: We are looking for a new regular to join the team to work permanently with our client 12 hour day shifts 7am - 7pm Monday - Sunday available Full time or part time available What you'll have: Kind and caring nature Flexibility & reliability continuity of care is imperative for our clients Good communication skills Experience with spinal cord injury support Driver the with own vehicle.
