Job description
Support Worker for HCPA, based in Cheshunt/Waltham Cross, working on-site with Magic Life — a caring provider of almost thirty assisted living homes across London and Hertfordshire. This permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours/week) pays £12.21 per hour and operates on rotating day and night shifts (08:00–20:00 / 20:00–08:00). You will support adults with mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, dual diagnoses, acquired brain injury and behaviours that can be challenging, including female‑only and forensic provisions. Core duties include assisting the Shift Lead with support plans and risk assessments, administering medication, keeping accurate records, carrying out weekly safety and maintenance checks, facilitating individual and group activities, supporting tenants’ daily living skills and community access, liaising with families and professionals, completing bi‑weekly key‑working sessions and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
