Support Worker – Full Time (Permanent) Location: Ponteland Pay: £14.50 per hour Expected Hours: 156 per 4 weeks Annual Salary Are you caring, sociable, and full of energy? I’m looking for someone just like that to join my existing support team – someone who can help me live a fun, active, and independent life while supporting me in achieving my personal goals. About Me: I’m a 30-year-old man living with Cerebral Palsy, which affects all four limbs and my trunk. I use a wheelchair full time and communicate using a device. I’m passionate about live sports, concerts, hitting the gym, socialising, and meeting new people – all with a good laugh along the way! About the Role: You’ll play an important role in supporting my day-to-day life, which includes: Full personal care Cooking meals Keeping my home clean and tidy Helping with bookings, appointments, and daily planning Driving me to and from activities and events (UK & international travel may be required) What I’m Looking For: A confident driver with a clean UK driving licence (essential – I have a large accessible vehicle) Someone with at least 2 years of support work experience A flexible and motivated team player Someone outgoing, reliable, and fun to be around Must be comfortable staying away from home occasionally (e.g., weekend trips or holidays) What You’ll Get: Rota provided at least 2 weeks in advance Sleep-ins (non-waking) paid at £12.21/hour once trained 28 days holiday (pro rata) Company pension Meal allowances Employee discounts Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking Referral programme Full training provided Requirements: Support Worker: 2 years (required) GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Confident English speaker (English as your first language required) Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Ponteland Clean UK Driving Licence (required) Must be flexible to cover shifts for sickness and holidays Sound like a good fit?
