We pride ourselves in providing a happy environment, person centred support and a range of activities for our residents to enjoy. Our staff and service users regularly go swimming, do pottery and engage with our local community at church, garden centres, the library, coffee mornings, and social clubs. What does the role of Support Worker involve? You will provide any support required to the residents of Orchard End, this can include personal care, administering medication, teaching life skills, completing paperwork and arranging activities. While this role can be challenging at times, and there is a lot to learn, we offer a robust induction programme that will well equip you to provide exceptional care. Existing staff members are also more than happy to support you in your journey to become an exceptional social care practitioner. The training provided is specific to our resident’s needs, and you will attend ongoing training in areas including Safeguarding Adults, First Aid, Autism Awareness, Epilepsy Awareness and many more. What experience do you need? - No experience is required – we provide full training! You will however need: - To be available to work shifts that include evenings & weekends - A full driving licence due to our rural location - A friendly and caring nature - A genuine desire to provide the best standard of care The SENAD Group is dedicated to equality of opportunity in all areas of work, education and care.
