Support Worker for Potens at Longlast, an 11‑bed CQC‑rated outstanding residential home near Carlton and Thorpe Thewles, Stockton‑on‑Tees. You’ll support adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities with personal care, daily living skills and community activities, always promoting independence. This permanent, full‑time role is 30.75 hours per week on a 6‑week rolling rota with varied shifts (generally between 08:00 and 21:30) and occasional long days or rare waking nights. Pay starts at £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.46 on completion of NVQ level 2. Due to the rural location and service needs, all applicants must hold a full, valid and clean driving licence and have their own vehicle.

You’ll be part of a national provider with over 35 years’ experience that invests in staff through paid training, progression to NVQ level 2–5, internal leadership development and access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme. Benefits include a contributory pension, staff savings and a generous referral scheme, plus the chance to complete your care certificate if you’re new to care. We welcome applicants with strong values, excellent communication and a flexible approach to shifts; NVQ level 2 or prior social care experience is preferred but not essential.
