Job description
Support people with learning disabilities in Lowestoft as a Support Worker for Mencap, earning £12.21 per hour on a permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours). You’ll help with everyday tasks and offer emotional and practical support to people with diverse abilities, working across 24‑hour services with day shifts typically between 07:00 and 22:00 and rota patterns published at least four weeks in advance so you can plan family life. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
