Position: Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant (LSA) Location: Northstowe Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent position Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications Start Date: ASAP Qualification: SEN experience (able to provide personal care) Randstad Education presents an excellent opportunity to begin a rewarding career in social care. This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours. Provide respectful and dignified personal care , including assistance with toileting. Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans . Foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment for all clients. Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client records. Preferred Skills : Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities is desirable. Knowledge of care planning systems and keyworking principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to use your own initiative. Good IT skills for documentation and record-keeping. A full, clean driving licence and access to a car. Personal Attributes : Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours. Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students. Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style. Have experience with SEND or knowledge learning difficulties. Patient, empathetic, and resilient. A professional and collaborative team member. Please note that this role is unable to offer any Sponsorship at this time. All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
