About The Role Ashurst is a warm and welcoming 5-bed Supported Living service supporting adult males with physical disabilities and some learning disabilities. Every individual here has unique needs, interests, and personalities and we pride ourselves on delivering person-centred, empowering care that helps them live life to the fullest. Our fully adapted and accessible home supports people with a range of needs, including: - Moving & handling - Enteral feeding - Personal care - Daily living skills and community engagement Every shift is 1:1, allowing our team to build real, lasting relationships with the individuals they support. About the Role We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our team to help ensure that each person receives the dedicated, high-quality support they deserve. Your day-to-day will include: - Supporting individuals with all aspects of personal care - Moving and handling - Assisting with enteral feeding and other health-related tasks - Encouraging and assisting independence - Supporting people to engage in hobbies, outings, and fun activities in the community - Creating personalised plans to help individuals lead meaningful lives This role is available due to growth in the service and to ensure consistent 1:1 support for every individual. About you We’re after someone who is: - Caring, fun-loving, and full of energy - Able to build genuine relationships based on respect and trust - Comfortable with personal care and physical support needs - A team player who brings positivity and passion to every shift While experience is preferred, no qualifications are required – we’ll provide all the training you need.
