Job description

Work with Voyage Care in Taunton (TA1) as a part-time Support Worker, paid at £12.68 per hour on permanent contracts. Shifts are nights, typically 20:30–08:00, working two or three shifts a week including weekends, and the role is for female* Support Workers where a genuine occupational requirement applies under the Equality Act 2010. You’ll support people in a warm residential setting to gain independence — assisting with personal care, teaching life skills, encouraging community access and running social activities from trips to local pubs and the cinema to relaxed evenings playing video games and watching films. No previous experience is necessary; what matters is a caring attitude, patience and a willingness to learn alongside a friendly, hands-on team.
