If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you! 30 hours per week Tell me more? - You will be supporting 5 people who live in the Taunton area to live their lives independently - You could be going on holiday!! This year we have been to Cyprus, Edinburgh and Butlins - we are looking to get more planned for next year, top of the list is the Harry Potter Train!! - The people we support enjoy trips into town, going shopping, visiting their families and going to church, we would like to find more things to do locally so if you have any ideas please bring them along! - Keen gardeners VERY welcome - Their home has a huge garden that would be great for growing veg and plants which the people we support would love to get involved in. What will I be doing? - You will be supporting people to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their personal goals - The people we support would like some support with their medication, organising and attending their health appointments, and preparing meals and personal care. - You will also be providing emotional support, encouragement, and reassurance when needed What shifts are available? - Morning support hours start at 7am - 2.30pm and then afternoon support hours are 2.30pm -10pm - We're looking for people with the flexibility to work on a rota basis across weekdays and weekends - Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work / life balance - something we're really passionate about!
