Job description
Support Worker with Creative Support in Ulverston, Cumbria — a hands‑on, person‑centred role supporting tenants with learning disabilities and autism. You’ll work within a positive behaviour support framework, offering personal care, domestic assistance and companionship while supporting community activities such as walking, swimming and eating out. The role involves responding calmly to challenging behaviour, following agreed plans and working as part of a consistent, supportive team. Prior experience helps but is not essential; an engaging, creative and patient approach is valued above all. This on‑site post is easy to reach by car, bus or train.
This role offers clear routes for development through Creative Support’s training academy, including accredited diplomas, plus a competitive pay rate of up to £12.70 per hour. You’ll work a flexible rota (evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins), choose weekly or monthly pay, and benefit from probationary bonuses, pension contributions, 28 days’ annual leave and a company‑paid enhanced DBS.
