Job description
Support Worker (Days) at Cygnet Health Care, Dove Valley Mews in Wombwell (S70) — permanent, full‑time role working 42 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, including every other weekend. You will provide person‑centred support for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including behaviours that challenge, helping people to build independence, make choices and enjoy a meaningful daily routine. The role involves practical and emotional care, assisting with medical and welfare needs, safeguarding and maintaining a safe, clean environment, and working closely with a small team to learn each individual’s strengths and preferences. Pay is £12.60 per hour rising to £12.85 after probation (approximately £28,005pa). An enhanced DBS check is required.
