Job description
Support Worker – Worcester: work with Iris Care Group at The Grange (WR8) supporting adults with specialist mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviours. You’ll encourage participation in meaningful activities, support people to attend appointments and access the community, and help develop practical skills such as cooking, personal care and independent living. The role involves following personalised care plans, maintaining accurate records and staying calm and compassionate when situations are tough. This post requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check and ideally at least 12 months’ experience in a similar setting; a Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
This permanent role pays £12.82 per hour and offers flexible working patterns (full-time, part-time or compressed hours), 216 hours’ holiday a year (28.8 days inclusive of bank holidays), industry-leading training, 24/7 Employee Assistance support, free on-site parking and uniform, overtime opportunities and a refer-a-friend bonus scheme.
