Support people recovering from mental health difficulties at Cygnet Hospital Bierley, a specialist acute and low‑secure service in Yorkshire and Humber. This permanent Support Worker role is 38.5 hours a week across days, nights and weekends, working on single‑sex wards within a recovery‑orientated, trauma‑informed model. You’ll provide hands‑on physical and emotional support, assist with medical and welfare needs, contribute to care plans under the CPA framework, safeguard people and maintain a safe, clean environment — reporting and communicating clearly as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. The role suits compassionate, organised carers and excellent communicators; many women returning to work or with prior caring experience find the variety, responsibility and personal connection especially rewarding. An enhanced DBS check is required.
