Job description
Support Worker at Cygnet Hospital Bierley (BD4) — a hands-on, rewarding role for people who want to deliver high-quality mental health care. You’ll work 38.5 hours per week across days, nights and weekends, supporting men and women in acute and low-secure wards within a recovery‑orientated, trauma‑informed setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include offering practical and emotional support, assisting with medical and welfare needs, maintaining a safe and clean environment, reporting changes in condition and promoting independence. This permanent, full‑time post pays £12.67 per hour and requires an enhanced DBS check.
