Job description
Creative Support seeks an experienced Team Leader based in Wythenshawe, Manchester to manage two neighbouring mental health services in Northenden. This full‑time, permanent, on‑site role (up to £13.81 per hour) puts you at the centre of enabling people with mental health needs and physical health problems to live full, connected lives in their local community. You will monitor and promote tenants’ health and well‑being, develop professional relationships with multi‑disciplinary teams and families, and make sure support is consistently person‑centred and outcome focused. The two services are close together (within a five‑minute walk) with good public transport links; previous experience in a supervisory or senior support role is required.
You will lead and coach a team of experienced Support Workers — compiling rotas, overseeing training and competence, supervising staff, and managing timesheets to ensure timely pay. Creative Support offers practical benefits including a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days’ leave and company‑paid enhanced DBS, and is proud to be an inclusive, anti‑racist employer (Stonewall Diversity Champion, Disability Confident, Investors in People Gold). This post is ideal for compassionate carers and women seeking a supportive leadership step where staff development and person‑centred practice matter. To apply, please click the "Apply Now" button alongside this advert — you can also find the vacancy on jobsincare.com. Applications close on 20 November 2025.
