Support Diagnostic World’s frontline healthcare services from home as an IT Technical Support Officer — a remote, home-based role (bank contract) with some national travel required and all travel costs covered. You’ll provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support across business and clinical systems, managing devices, the M365 tenant, Azure/Azure AD/Intune, antivirus updates, smartphones via MDM, and the IT asset register. The role also includes supporting clinical applications such as the Patient Administration System and other imaging-related systems where applicable, producing user guidance and training, and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers. The post is based with Diagnostic World in Birmingham (B15), pays £12.21 an hour and requires eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS check; experience with Microsoft Office admin, Windows 10/11 deployment, cloud services (Azure/M365/AWS) and ITSM tools is essential, while familiarity with DICOM/HL7/PACS is desirable.

This position suits women and carers seeking flexible, meaningful work that leverages technical skills to make a real difference to patient services — ideal if you prefer home working but don’t mind occasional travel. Benefits include a company pension, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service) and an Employee Assistance Programme to support wellbeing, plus ongoing training opportunities. Diagnostic World delivers NHS and private community diagnostic services across the Midlands and South-East, so you’ll be part of a service that directly supports patients.
