Transform your expertise in cancer care into a rewarding and impactful career as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Teenage and Young Adults (TYA) at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London. In this pivotal role, you'll act as a key worker, guiding TYA cancer patients and their families through their treatment journey with empathy and expertise. Collaborating closely with the Royal Marsden Hospital and other clinical teams, you'll provide holistic support, from specialised advice on symptom control to emotional and palliative care. Your leadership with the multidisciplinary team will be crucial in pioneering service development projects and delivering the highest quality care to the TYA community at St George's.
This role is perfect for a compassionate professional with a strong background in cancer care, who is eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients. As a central resource, you'll offer emotional and clinical support, ensuring comprehensive care plans are in place and that patients receive tailored, holistic assessments at critical moments. With opportunities to collaborate with educational institutions and provide family-centred care, your role will extend beyond clinical duties, helping young patients navigate both their medical and personal challenges.
