Support older patients to regain strength and confidence as a Therapy Support Worker (Band 3) with the Royal United Hospitals Bath in Bath, BA1. Based on the Older People’s Unit, this role focuses on enabling mobility and encouraging active routines to prevent deconditioning and complications such as chest infections, pressure sores and blood clots. You will work hands‑on with patients and families, using mobility aids, hoists and bed controls to assist safe transfers and rehabilitation. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term post (5 months) on Agenda for Change Band 3, salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata. Essential requirements include the Level 3 NVQ (or working towards) in Health and Social Care and the Care Certificate; a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
