Lead the evolution of microbiology training across the North from County Hall, Glenfield (LE3 8RA) as NHS England’s Training Programme Director — a consultant‑grade, part‑time secondment (12 months) with TPD sessional payments. You will be professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School, driving improvements in supervision, assessment and trainee experience, strengthening faculty engagement and educational outcomes, and shaping multi‑professional workforce transformation across health and relevant social care settings. The role includes ensuring GMC standards are met, contributing to budgetary and quality management, advising trainees on OOP/IDT/LTFT and acting‑up requests, and building effective local, regional and national stakeholder networks to deliver an integrated workforce.
