Trust Grade Registrar in Diabetes and Endocrinology (Feb 2026) at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, based on ward C52 at the QMC campus (NG7 2UH). This fixed‑term, full‑time post (six months from Feb 2026) is for an ST4‑level doctor or above and forms part of the cross‑campus ST4+ General Internal Medicine rota. You’ll manage inpatient diabetes and endocrine care, take ward referrals and see emergency drop‑in patients, and join specialty clinics to broaden your clinical experience. Full MRCP, MBBS, GMC registration with a licence to practise, ALS certification and at least 12 months’ UK NHS experience are required. Salary is £65,048–£73,992 plus out‑of‑hours enhancements.

The role offers hands‑on responsibility with consultant supervision: lead ward rounds, make clinical decisions supported by consultants, and be allocated a Clinical Supervisor. There are regular departmental meetings and junior doctor teaching, opportunities for workplace assessments, and practical experience that maps to core training competences — ideal if you’re aiming for future SpR applications. The post is DBS‑checked and NUH will consider Skilled Worker sponsorship. To apply, click the "Apply Now" button next to this listing on jobsincare.com.
