Support the Value Based Healthcare (VBHC) team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Cwmbran (NP44) as a Project Support Officer. This fixed‑term/secondment role runs for five months to 31 March 2026, Band 3 (£25,313–£26,999 pro rata), with part‑time and flexible working to suit carers and those balancing family responsibilities. You’ll be part of a patient‑focused, forward‑thinking department within a multi‑award‑winning NHS organisation that values training, wellbeing and career development. If applying on secondment you must seek permission from your current line manager beforehand; Welsh speakers are welcome and DBS clearance will be required. Candidates needing Skilled Worker sponsorship will be considered.

In this hands‑on role you’ll provide essential administrative and secretarial support across VBHC projects: act as first point of contact, organise multi‑disciplinary meetings, draft agendas and accurate minutes, manage busy diaries and mail systems, maintain project files and electronic records, compile complex reports and statistical returns, and support national and local audits and compliance monitoring. The post suits experienced administrators or secretarial staff comfortable with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), data handling and sensitive information, and able to travel between sites when needed.
