You will be responsible for supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care. This care home has 20 residents and specialises in supporting individuals with Mental Health diagnosis and Learning Difficulties, with end goal of promoting independent living skills and developing their socialising skills. You will be expected to carry out the following duties; - Encourage service users to do tasks independently. - Assist with cooking and preparing meals. - Accompany service users on day trips, walks or any activity they choose to do. - Ensure all necessary paperwork is filled out correctly and accurately. If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep! To apply for this role you must; - Have referenceable work history - Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)* - Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service* - Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting. This role offers ongoing hours You will be working on Saturdays and/or Sundays with usual hours being either 08:00 to 20:00 or 20:00 to 08:00 You will be paid: £12.50 per hour (Days) £13.00 per hour (Nights)
