As a Young People’s Social Worker with Wiltshire Council, based at County Hall in Trowbridge (BA14), you will hold case responsibility for adolescents aged 10–17 who are at risk of or experiencing exploitation, offending or going missing. The role involves timely S47 enquiries, single and specialist assessments (CSE, CCE, AIM), risk management, care and protection planning, attending conferences and court hearings, and close multi‑agency working with the Youth Offending Team, police, schools, foster carers and other partners. This permanent, full‑time post is for Social Work England‑registered practitioners and pays £45,841–£48,035 a year (inclusive of a 15% market supplement).
