We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed administrator to join our friendly team. The post is full time, willing to consider job share. We are ideally looking for someone with previous

with excellent interpersonal skills. Delivering high quality services is essential.Duties will include ensuring all registrations are up to date, Summarising, processing of electronic and paper post. Dealing with queries in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy is essential and full training will be given as appropriate.Rate of pay is to be discussed and will be offered membership of the NHS pension scheme.
Main duties of the job
The following are the core responsibilities of the administrator. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.Keep the Practice Manager informed of any matters arising or problems/potential problems.Ensure registrations are entered onto the databaseUpdate the database for all patient change of registration status as notified.Monitor accuracy of registration database as requited producing any necessary reports as required.Sort and distribute accordingly any correspondence and records received in the weekly delivery from the Health Authority.Ensure medical records requested for return to the Health Authority are retrieved and dealt with in the appropriate manner.Processing and Summarising of new patient records.Keep a record of any patient joining the practice list who is under 5 (including new births), for advice to health visitors.Processing/read coding of electronic and paper post.Managing of Private Work requests and related queries.

St David's is a supportive, forward-thinking teaching/training practice involved in research, with a practice list size of over 20,000 and a friendly multi-disciplined team of other dedicated and highly skilled healthcare professionals comprising of 6 partners and 7 salaried GP's, with an ACP who deals with home visits and manages weekly MDT working collaboratively within other like-minded clusters, sharing ideas and resources, 1 physiotherapist, 2 pharmacists and a pharmacist technician providing support to help with repeat prescriptions/medication reviews, 1 Physician Associate, 4 Practice Nurses, 4 HCA's, providing care for patients and their families in a way we believe is best, delivering high service standards, sharing best practice and actively improving the way we work.
