Job description
We are looking for an Administrator to join the Administration Team here within the Plastic Surgery Waiting List team based at Castle Hill Hospital, at Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust
As an Administrator, you will support the administration team to manage the end to end clinical administrative processes associated to the patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, for our patients and customers .
We currently have 1 vacant post working Wednesday and Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with 1 hour unpaid break.
The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As anAdministrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway providing administrative support to our your line managers within Administration and the wider organisation.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Our Administrators play a vital role in the delivery of patient care via the management of the patients end-to-end pathway and supporting the wider team. Our roles are varied and challenging and your day to day duties may include;
- Logging of waiting list forms to patient records
- Arranging pre-assessment appointments for patients ahead of their surgery
- Tracking patients through their journey to ensure a great patient experience
- Supporting with ensuring case notes are in place ahead of patient's surgery.
- Supporting Senior Administrators as required.
With a starting salary of £23615 per annum, with a generous NHS pension scheme and a fantastic annual leave package (27 days annual leave plus bank holidays) and offer excellent opportunities to progress within clinical administration.
Although previous administration experience would be helpful, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude. Candidates should possess the following skills;
