Advanced Healthcare Assistant – Apprenticeship Opportunity with Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), based at the sOpal Centre, Tickhill Road Hospital, Doncaster (DN4). This permanent, part‑time Band 3 role (salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) combines hands‑on patient care with administration for the Specialist Continence team. You will support assessment, implementation and delivery of care, answer calls and manage the continence prescription service, liaise with patients about product needs, generate prescriptions, send samples and correspondence, produce reports and maintain secure electronic records. Clinical duties are carried out under the supervision of registered nurses and the post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. An apprenticeship route is available, with support to complete a relevant Level 3 qualification for those who meet eligibility criteria.

This role is aimed at caring people with experience in clinical or care settings and strong interpersonal skills — especially those comfortable supporting patients and carers in distress, working as part of a team and using basic IT. Essential requirements include English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 2 in a related subject or the willingness to undertake training.
