Job description
Support people with long‑term respiratory conditions as an Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT, based at Halton Hospital, Runcorn (WA7). This permanent, part‑time role (salary £27,485–£30,162) involves delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes and outpatient respiratory therapy across hospital and community venues and in patients’ homes. You will manage a delegated caseload, carry out assessments, deliver and supervise individual and group exercise programmes, prepare sessions and equipment, keep clear patient records and answer patient queries — all within agreed local protocols and with clinical oversight from specialist physiotherapists and the Professional Lead.
