Shifts cover Monday to Sunday, 7am to 8pm to include weekend and Bank Holidays As and When RequiredAre you a strong team player, kind, friendly and motivated? Then we may have the role for you!York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (YTHFM) are looking for an approachable and flexible Catering Services Operative to join our team in York.
Experience
is not necessary as full training will be given, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
Main duties of the job
Duties include,but are not limited to:Delivering food to and serving patient food to the wards areasUsing ward ovens to regenerate foodKeeping the ward kitchen cleanMonitoring food temperatures as part of HACCPWashing up and other general cleaning duties.The role also could involve working in cold rooms to pick and seal patient food and also working in pot wash.The ideal candidate will have catering
Experience
, be fantastic with customers, a good team player and able to work on their own unsupervised. Full training will be provided.Enhanced rates apply when working at the weekend.
