Band 7: £46,148 to £52,809 a year Per Annum  PERMANENT

We are delighted at the prospect of recruiting a Duty Lead to join our supportive and innovative Getting Help / Getting More Help team in the Buckinghamshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. This is part of Buckinghamshire-wide mental health and well-being service which is designed to provide young people with expert help from one easy access point and is and run by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

  • To support and enhance the clinical care of patients and their parents/carer whilst they are on a treatment specific pathway.
  • Offer timely liaison with both internal and external partners, families signposting opportunities to support recovery, and parent & carers psychoeducational sessions to improve understanding.
  • To work directly with children, young people and families to ensure that they are well engaged in their CAMHS service offer.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that offers a whole systems approach to the short- and long-term management of mental illness that works across the whole CAMH service.
  • Manage and lead a small team of support workers within the service.
