Job description
Working 3–4 days a week with the occasional Saturday (plenty of notice given), you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support the treatment room and clinical team. Core duties include venepuncture (via ICE), recording routine and emergency ECGs, measuring and recording observations (height, weight, BP, temperature, pulse, blood sugar, oxygen saturations), fitting 24‑hour blood pressure monitors, carrying out annual mental health physical checks and bloods using templates, administering adult flu injections per protocol, acting as a chaperone, assisting in emergency management and providing health promotion information. Training is available and a phlebotomy qualification is desirable but not essential; essential attributes are the ability to write clear, concise notes, a calm manner and enthusiasm to learn.
