As a Care Support Worker at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust you’ll provide hands‑on, compassionate care to patients across our acute and community services in Rotherham (S60). Day‑to‑day duties include personal care, moving and handling patients, chaperoning, transporting equipment, specimens, linen, beds and blood products between departments, cleaning clinical areas and assisting with equipment preparation — all under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses, Midwives or Operating Department Practitioners. The role is band 2 (salary £24,465 pro rata), permanent and offers full‑time, part‑time or flexible working patterns. Candidates should be willing to complete the Care Certificate and functional skills Level 2 in Maths and English if needed; an enhanced DBS check is required.
