Job description
Bromley Healthcare CIC’s Care at Home service is looking for compassionate Carers – Domiciliary care to support adults in their own homes across Bexley (DA14) and Bromley (BR6), with vacancies also in DA5 and DA15. In this permanent role you will deliver person‑centred care according to support plans: personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, toileting), medication monitoring and administration, shopping and meal preparation, domestic tasks, supporting community access and leisure, manual handling using equipment where required, and accurate record‑keeping. Shifts are flexible – full‑time, part‑time or hours to suit childcare commitments, including evenings and alternate weekends. Pay is Agenda for Change Band 2: £12.75 per hour on weekdays and £12.95 per hour at weekends. Please note this role does not qualify for a Sponsorship Visa.
This role is ideal for experienced carers, those returning to work and anyone seeking meaningful, flexible hours — particularly women balancing caring responsibilities who want reliable pay and clear routes for progression. You’ll need good listening skills, IT literacy and a respectful, confidential approach; the Care Certificate is essential or you must be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2/Diploma. Bromley Healthcare invests in staff development with apprenticeships and clear pathways into Nursing Associate and Registered Nurse apprenticeships, plus degree apprenticeships for some allied health roles.
