Job description
Provide a welcoming, confidential reception and clerical service at Highbury Hospital, Basford (NG6) as Clinical Admin Support for Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This full‑time, fixed‑term (12 months) Band 2 role (£24,465 pa pro rata) centres on processing referrals, booking and co‑ordinating appointments, handling phone enquiries, maintaining patient records and databases, typing correspondence, filing/scanning and supporting the team with administrative cover. You’ll need experience in an office or reception environment, strong IT and communication skills, and either NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or a willingness to work towards it; basic typing/word‑processing competence is also required. Please note the post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check — applicants pay the DBS fee (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced), which will be deducted from salary over the first two months, and you are encouraged to enrol on the DBS Update Service (annual fee £16). This post does not meet the pay threshold for Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa sponsorship.
