Job description
As a Community Administration Assistant based at Northwick Park Hospital (Harrow, HA1) you will work within the Clinical Support Team providing comprehensive clerical and customer-facing support. Your day‑to‑day will include accurate data entry and maintenance of patient databases, booking appointments, word processing, distributing and filing, and organising workload. The post involves regular liaison with clinical and administrative staff, GPs, patients, families and external agencies, and requires tact, empathy and diplomacy when handling complex or sensitive information. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team; GCSEs grade C or above in English and Mathematics are essential, with NVQ3 in admin/customer care and NHS system experience such as Cerner desirable.
