Job summary
It is anexciting time to join the Crisis Resolution Team as we embark on a new andinnovative way of delivering crisis care in Worcestershire.We are looking for a motivated and passionateindividual to join our Team. We are a dynamic and responsiveteam who strive to continuously develop and adapt to the needs of individuals,their families and carers in Worcestershire providing compassionate andtrauma-informed care when they are at their most vulnerable.The CrisisSupport Workers deliver a variety of care and support including bespoke crisisinterventions, telephone advice and signposting & face-to-face acute care.Shiftpattern consists of days and waking nights over a 7-day period including bankholidays, working 13 shifts over a 4-week period. The team is based inWorcester, but travel across the county may be required.Working inthe Crisis Resolution Team will bring you variation each shift and provideregular opportunities for internal and external training and development and wesupport and encourage career progression. Main duties of the job
Working for the Crisis Resolution Team means thatno two days are the same. The service we provide is critical to those in amental health crisis and helps enable specialist support from the onset.You will answer calls from individuals ortheir family members via our dedicated urgent mental health helpline, providingsupport, advice and signposting to those experiencing a mental health oremotional crisis.You will answer calls from a wide range ofprofessionals via our dedicated professional referral line, helping ensurepeople get the right support as soon as they need it.You will have the opportunity to support theclinical team members in conducting mental health assessments or providingbespoke crisis support to individuals, both over the phone and face-to-face.You will provide support to individuals whoare detained under section 136 and being cared for in our designated place ofsafety.Please note the Trust will not providesponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to workin the UK status.
