Take the next step in your nursing career as Deputy Ward Manager on Ward 32 at York Teaching Hospital. You’ll work on a 31‑bed medical ward specialising in cardiology, neurology and endocrine care, supporting the Ward Manager to deliver high standards of patient care, lead and develop the nursing team and deputise in their absence. This Band 6 role is aimed at experienced registered nurses (minimum two years post‑registration) who want to grow their clinical, leadership and management skills in a busy, supportive acute setting.
