Job summary
Domestic Assistant Band 2 - 15 Hours per week (Monday - Friday 18.00 - 21.00)We currently have Vacancies for Domestic Assistants to work as part of the Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust at Stepping Hill Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated people to join our current 204 strong team, who have a passion for delivering a quality cleaning/ decontamination service.As this is a public facing service we are seeking individuals who enjoy customer interaction and have the ability to react to a changing and sometimes challenging environment. Our service covers wards, department and office areas across the site.We use all the latest cleaning equipment and materials. Main duties of the job
To work as part of the FM operational team, responsible for providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.This will involve carrying out the following Facilities Management functions:The primary function is general cleaning within the hospital environment, including clinical and patient areas such as the emergency department, Theatres, wards, non-clinical areas. You will be required to work in any of the areas following the required training.To provide a high quality responsive, efficient and effective patient support service to wards and departments within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust acting in a caring and professional manner and ensuring we meet the National Cleaning Standards required.
