Play a vital role in Torbay Day Surgery Unit at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, based at Torbay Hospital, Torquay (TQ2). As a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker you’ll work under the supervision of registered nurses to admit and escort patients to theatre, assist with pre‑operative assessment, take observations, perform ECGs and phlebotomy, and care for patients post‑operatively until they are safely discharged the same day. This permanent, part‑time post sits within a Monday–Friday 08:00–21:00 service with varying shifts to cover these hours; salary is Agenda for Change Band 3, £24,937–£26,598 pro rata.
