Job description
As a Hotel Services Assistant based at Barnstaple Health Centre (EX32), you’ll work within a small, friendly team carrying out general and deep cleans across clinical and non-clinical areas. This permanent, part‑time Band 2 role pays £24,465 pro rata and follows an evening rota (Mon–Fri: 16:00–19:00 on Monday–Tuesday, 16:00–18:30 Wednesday–Friday). Day‑to‑day duties include emptying bins, replenishing hand towels and soap, wiping surfaces, mopping, dusting and removing cobwebs, with training provided to use a rotowash and floor buffer for deep cleans. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required; the post suits practical, caring people who take pride in creating safe, clean environments for patients and staff.
