SECONDMENT
Job description
As ICC Clinical Delivery Coordinator with North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust in Manchester (M14), you will manage inbound calls from operational crews and callers, directing each case to the appropriate service and arranging alternative transport where needed. This full‑time, Band 2 secondment runs until June 2026 and sits in a 24/7 contact centre; the role works closely with paramedics, registered nurses, pharmacists and mental health clinicians to identify alternative pathways that can prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. The post attracts an annual salary of £24,465 (Agenda for Change) and substantial shift enhancements for nights, Saturdays and Sundays. Call‑centre experience is required, GCSE English is essential, and a DBS check will be needed; full training is provided to help you settle quickly.
This role suits experienced carers and strong communicators who can multitask, stay calm under pressure and use Microsoft Office and keyboard skills confidently. You’ll follow a rolling rota to maintain cover, so predictable shift patterns and shift pay uplifts can suit those balancing family or caring responsibilities. North West Ambulance Service is an inclusive employer that delivers NHS 111 and emergency services across the North West, offering genuine day‑to‑day impact and professional collaboration.
