Yorsexual health are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our well established team in Northallerton.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills as the post is a progression from Band 2 to Band 3 role within the service . This contract is for up to 24 hours per week.

Our successful candidate will assist clinicians with; examinations, management and treatment of STIs, including HIV and provision of contraception, as well as obtaining samples, blood taking, chaperoning and supporting administrative services when required.

Experience within sexual health is not required, but a drive to learn and develop a key part of our services is. Training provided includes Microscopy, assessing patients, chaperoning skills, testing and Phlebotomy Upon completion of these competencies you will progress to a Band 3.
