Job description
Are you looking for a new direction for your Career ?
Do you want to bring a smile to people's faces every day ?
Your new career as a Care Assistant with Right at Home Mid Sussex is just a click away!
You will be able to add real value to the lives of vulnerable adults who rely heavily on our services and the honesty and caring nature of our people. We don’t believe care is ever boring, every day is different and infinitely rewarding.
Be valued for the work you do – We completely understand that happy Care Assistants provide great care, so we ensure that you’re truly rewarded for what you do (and not just through our competitive pay rates) - we want all of our team members to realise just how special they are to us and our clients.
Weekday hourly rates are £14.25 per hour rising to £15 after 5pm and £16.25 at weekends. We also pay a generous mileage allowance, loyalty bonus and an uplift for bank holidays.
By becoming a Care Assistant, you will be able to add real value to the lives of vulnerable adults who rely heavily on our services and the honesty and caring nature of our people.
Our care is centred on helping our clients achieve their personal aims. Each visit will work towards an end goal – whether that is to ensure that someone is able to wash and clean themselves, or baking cakes!
Tasks can include meal preparation, assisting with medication, personal care, taking to appointments, light housework, socialising, and companionship.
Our clients are in a limited territory of Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and surrounding villages, and minimum call time is 45 minutes, with most calls being significantly longer that that, so there are generous opportunities to earn.
No experience is necessary as full training will be given, all we ask is a caring nature and a drivers license and use of a car for work. Applicants must be 18 years of age and live in the local area.
We currently have vacancies for Care Assistants from 10 hours to 40 hours a week, so for further information about these tempting opportunities and the hours available, please apply now.
