Job summary

The successfulcandidate should be able to provide a professional service to the patients,staff and visitors of Woodside Medical Centre. They must also be able to ensurea high level of accuracy is maintained in all aspects of work at all times.

Main duties of the job


Hours of work forthis position are 21.50 as follows



Monday 1.15pm - 6.30pm



Tuesday 7.45am 1.00pm



Wednesday OFF



Thursday 7.45am 1.15pm



Friday 1.15pm -6.45pm



PLEASE NOTE THATYOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK DURING THE CORE HOURS OF 7.45am - 6.45pm Mondayto Friday to cover colleagues for training, annual leave and sickness


We offer between5.4 and 6.6 weeks holiday per year (Pro rata) depending on years of servicewithin the NHS

You will benefitfrom free parking, a uniform and your birthday off each year (allocated by thepractice)

We are a friendly, large GP Practice, wishing to recruit a Care Navigator, who is efficient, well-organised, enthusiastic and who has experience of working in a customer facing environment and able to delivery first class customer service to our patients.The role is fast-paced and varied. We have 4 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 1 Advanced Clinical Practitioner, 4 Nurses, 10 Care Navigators, 2 Secretaries, two Managers and a Medicines Co-Ordinator plus other various administrators and ARRS staff

  • GCSE Grade A C in the following subjects
  • Maths
  • English
  • Extensive IT knowledge and skills
  • NVQ or essential IT skills diploma (or equivalent)
Desirable

  • Qualified to NVQ level 2/3
Experience

  • Previous reception experience (preferably within the NHS)
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Previous computer/IT knowledge and comprehensive use of packages
