Dovehaven Care Homes is seeking a Care Assistant to join their team at Church View Nursing Home in Old Swan, Liverpool. The position involves working 33 or 22 hours per week, including weekends, from 8 am to 8 pm. The home caters to up to 35 residents, specializing in dementia care, and aims to promote independence, dignity, and respect among its residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide personal and practical care while assisting other staff in maintaining high standards of care and service. Candidates should demonstrate compassion, resilience, and organisational skills, along with effective communication. An NVQ Level 2 in health and social care is desirable. In return, the role offers fortnightly pay, 28 days of annual leave (pro rata), free parking, and comprehensive training and development opportunities. An enhanced DBS check is part of the recruitment process.
