The Domestic Support Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for staff, patients, and visitors within the Trust, following National Standards of Cleanliness. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive cleaning services to wards, offices, and departments.
  • Managing waste disposal and adhering to Infection Control Policies.
  • Performing general cleaning tasks such as dusting and sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing consumables.
  • Cleaning kitchen areas and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
